What is the difference between Botox & Dysport?
Both Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neurotoxins that work by relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines and wrinkles. The main differences come down to how quickly results appear and how the product spreads once injected. They are very similar with subtle differences that your provider can explain to you at your appointment.
What is the cost of Botox/Dysport?
We offer Botox/Dysport by the unit- meaning we are tailoring treatments to your specific needs and not just treating an area at a time. Currently our price of Botox is $13 per unit. If you become a member of our MFA Society you'll receive $1 off per unit at each service.
Do treatments hurt?
The injections feel like tiny pinches. Most patients find them very tolerable, and we can use ice or topical numbing for added comfort.
Can I combine tox with other treatments?
Yes! We often pair Botox with dermal fillers, laser treatments, or facials for a more comprehensive refresh. If scheduling our team will ensure you have your appointments in the correct order for best results.
What exactly is Jeuveau?
You know those pesky little wrinkles between your eyebrows that won’t go away? Well, they're called glabellar lines, also referred to as "frown lines" or "elevens." Jeuveau is a prescription injectable treatment that works to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines in adults.
How does Jeuveau work?
When injected, Jeuveau temporarily prevents your nerves from telling your facial muscles to flex. The result? In clinical trials, Jeuveau was shown to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines.
What’s it like before & after treatment?
If it’s your first time getting a treatment, you may be a little nervous and that’s okay! Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, erythema, and/or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the injection. For specific instructions on what to do before and after your treatment, please follow the instructions as given to you by your doctor or healthcare provider.
How often do you need filler?
Most fillers last 12 to 18 months, depending on the area treated and the type of filler used. Your provider will help guide you on what’s best for your goals.
What is the difference between Botox & Fillers?
Botox relaxes muscles to smooth wrinkles, while fillers restore volume and enhance facial features. They’re often used together for the best overall rejuvenation.
Do treatments hurt?
We use a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Most patients describe the treatment as very tolerable, with only minor pressure or a quick pinch.
Will I look overdone?
Our goal is always natural, balanced results. We enhance your features so you look refreshed — never “overfilled.”
Who is a good candidate for dermal fillers?
Fillers are ideal for adults looking to restore lost volume, smooth lines, or enhance natural features. During your consultation, we’ll personalize a plan just for you.
How does Sculptra work?
Sculptra is not a traditional filler. Instead, it stimulates your body’s own collagen production, gradually rebuilding the skin’s foundation for results that look natural and long-lasting.
When will I see results?
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, results with Sculptra appear gradually. You’ll notice improvements in skin firmness and volume over the course of several weeks to months as new collagen forms.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. You may notice some swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites, but these typically resolve within a few days.
Who is a good candidate for Sculptra?
Sculptra is ideal for patients who want a more subtle, gradual restoration of volume rather than an immediate filler effect. It’s also great for improving skin quality, laxity, and fine lines.
Can Sculptra be combined with other treatments?
Absolutely! Sculptra pairs beautifully with neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, and skin treatments like lasers or microneedling for comprehensive rejuvenation.
